We’re thrilled to announce that Wingpact has signed with a publisher, Green Fire Press (GFP) for our upcoming book, Impact with Wings. It has been a rollercoaster ride, but working with GFP has been eye-opening for all of us who are first-time authors.
From the very beginning of this book project, I have been a big proponent of getting a publisher instead of self-publishing due to what I learned during my writing workshops at Stanford University. But oh boy, I didn’t know that the book publishing industry is so complex, and the due diligence our team had to go through could have easily become a lengthy process.
At Wingpact, one of our core values is influencing a community of women supporting each other. When discussing with GFP’s co-founders, Jennifer Browdy and Jana Laiz, we truly felt that both parties are mission-aligned and that the GFP team is genuinely excited and in full support of our work.
